  1. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.- James 1:22

Instead of listening to a preacher and then saying, "hmm, that was a good sermon" and then disregarding everything after sunday. It's quite foolish.
It has inspired me to write a book based on this. But as I write, I seek not to be judgemental of those who are further from God, and also humble in my own faith.

  2. That's a good point. I think often people think their life will just change after listening to a good speaker, but you must seek to apply what you have learned in order to make a difference.

  3. Yea,to say ur gonna change is easy..its rly doing it.,making that 1st step thats the hard part& keeping @ it is even harder.I mean when eveyone around u is telling u one thing its so hard not 2believe it.Like if everyone u ever met told u your a worthless piece of trash wouldnt u get 2a point where u rly believe it 2b true? & Even if u wanted 2 change u almost feel u cant cuz uve just lost hope & ur so discouraged. I think if everyone made it theyre goal 2b encouraging to at lease 1person..instead of just going around bringing people down then i think we would not only c a change in us as invidvals..but as a whole. all of storm. Also, i really think its important not 2 judge. u dont want ppl 2judge u do u..then y judge other ppl.Theyre not gonna change until u let them. heard a quote one time "reputations take a lifetime to build up & a moment 2ruin" or something like that...well thats so true n if u have a rly bad view of someone then maybe u should just think "maybe theyre trying 2change" cuz u never know. Just give them a chance..it may take time but they might just climb outa the hole they made & even fill it back up. Anyway, yea thats about all i wanted 2say. Main point: Encourage each other!!!:) n yeaa idk if that whole thing made sence but it def sounded better in my head. haha. The end.

P.S thanks ty 4making this blog!! i rly admire ya 4 making that step!

  4. Like Eric was saying, you can sit and listen to sermons from all kinds of anointed people all day. After each one you can say, "Gosh, that was convicting," but if you continue to sit on your bum and don't add actions to those convictions, there will be no point in listening to God's truth spoken.
